Hacienda Records presents the second release from this traditional Conjunto, hailing from, you guessed it! Zapata, Texas. These five music veterans create an original, yet timeless sound. Their new CD is entitled “Cuando Caí La Tarde” and it is filled with hardcore rancheras, a beautiful bolero and even a polka.

All members of this group have years of experience and have performed with other music greats such as Mingo Saldivar, Intocable, Chano Cadena, and Angel Flores.

The group is led by accordionist and vocalist Juan C. Dominguez. Under his guidance, Los 5 de Zapata are quickly becoming fan favorites and are currently performing on a weekly basis for enthusiastic South Texas crowds. Highlights from this CD include: “Herida De Amor,” “Decidelo,” and the title song “Cuando Caí La Tarde.”
