Austin’s Diez y Seis de Septiembre events keep growing in number and popularity, but a staple endures — Fiestas Patrias of Austin’s annual music festival at Fiesta Gardens.

Well surprise, surprise… The Convention was great. Even with a reduced amount of turn out since previous years, the Tejano Music National Convention in my eyes was a great success. Not only did it hold steadfast and contain a lot of great exposure for new and upcoming bands but it provided industry people a place to discuss the future. The Tejano Music National Convention being held at the Hyatt Regency at Reunion in Dallas, Texas should be a great show. We here at iTejano can’t wait to see the performance of “Cinco Doce” a new sensation coming out of Austin, Texas with a sound that reminds you of, “Why you love music”. Can you feel the excitement! Premios Texas 2009 are tonight at the Long Center in Austin, Texas. We have the crew ready and they are going to have some fun.
