Los Texmaniacs

The Texmaniacs have taken Tejano/Conjunto Music to another level! With some of the good sounds of  Max Baca on the bajo sexto and David Farias on the accordian, They are what being Tejano is all about! I saw these guys perform in March at the TTMA Fan Fair and the energy was incredible. They have a new Album titled “Borders y Bailes” that has been released by Smithsonian Folkway Recordings and was produced by Max Baca himself!  It also includes a special performance by mentor and friend Flaco Jimenez, one of Tejano Music’s greatest accordian players. I give this Album 2 thumbs up and  should be in every Tejano’s collection!
